DID I TELL YOU?
This site, like us, is very much a work in progress.
Front Lines Recovery Scholarship Program was formed in memory of Brian Beatty. Brian had a special gift for making others feel worthy of love and a helping hand. He could not sit by and see others suffer and struggle. He was well known for approaching people, whether complete stranger or close friend, and ask "Did I tell you?" The answer is "I love you." This and other random acts of kindness brought smiles to anyone in his vicinity. Brian was a lighthouse, especially to those new and uneasy in their recovery journey. He had a way of making people feel like they were not alone and facilitated a sense of belonging in the recovery community long after. He didn't just spread the message of "one love" but he lived and breathed it. He made sure no one felt left out for any reason. Brian served our country in the Marine Corps and continued to serve his community. He always took a "boots on the ground" approach and loved being "on the front lines" ready to help anyone he could. A soul this bright can't help but shine on. Our goal is to continue to carry his mission in life now in his memory.
